Quinoa Cake with Orange

Makes 1 cake / 12 portions.

Ingredients
  • ¾ cup CUSI organic quinoa flour

  • 1 ¼ cups oat flour

  • 1 ¼ cups brown sugar

  • 4 teaspoons baking powder

  • ½ teastpoon grated orange peel (optional)

  • 1 pinch salt

  • ¾ cup organge juice

  • ½ cup vegetable oil

  • 3 eggs

preparation
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and lightly grease an 8-9 inch pan.

  • In a large bowl combine all the ingredients until well blended.

  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
